A Primitive Place

We’re excited to bring A Primitive Place to 701 Boutique & Antiques in Hankinson! Founded in 2010 by Kristine Berg of Wyndmere, ND, A Primitive Place is a nationally recognized magazine celebrating primitive, country, and colonial homes. Now in its 15th year, the publication remains a proud family business—run by Kristine and her son, Robert Bladow, along with her daughters, Amy Bladow and Ashlyn (Bladow) Peterson.

In addition to the magazine, the family offers a curated selection of early antiques and primitives through their website, www.aprimitiveplacemagazine.com, and at their annual September event held on their farmstead near Wahpeton.

We’ve invited them to join us at 701 Boutique & Antiques to showcase the best in early American pieces. Shop a beautiful collection of early cupboards, tavern tables, coverlets, quilts, yellowware, baskets, early stoneware, wooden bowls, firkins, and much more.

Discover timeless craftsmanship and authentic early American history—right here in Hankinson.
